ABOUT ME
Hello! I'm Gizem. A mom, life partner, and marketeer based in Copenhagen.
I’m a curious mind and critical thinker, often drawn to exploring complex ideas and making sense of them through a cross disciplinary lens.
Thanks to a bit of synesthetic wiring, I naturally notice patterns and connections in unexpected ways. This provides me enriching creative expressions and problem solving.

VALUES
Genuine Connection and Positive Change
Playful and accommodating by nature, I hold some values close to heart such as diversity, equity, sustainability, democracy, and the well-being of children.
These principles guide how I live and work. They shape my decisions, collaborations, and define the kind of impact I aim to create.
In my corporate work, I've advocated for goodvertising, and sustainable marketing, harnessing the power of brands to become the active agents of positive change.
Beyond my professional work, I remain committed to volunteering in causes aligned with my values.
Campaigns for Change:
Driving Awareness and Action
I led a campaign for National Geographic Channel that addressed gender inequality and encouraged public dialogue. Inspired by Malala Yousafzai, the initiative aimed to ignite meaningful conversations around girls' education and take action by supporting UNICEF 's field work.
For Nat Geo Wild’s Big Cats initiative, I collaborated with a creative agency to spark awareness through compelling storytelling and worked closely with local animal rights organisations to drive real change on the ground.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
1. What kind of work experience has shaped your approach? My experience spans corporate, public sector and civil society, creative and entrepreneurial environments. I have worked in industries including banking, media and entertainment, consumer brands, manufacturing and export, events and conferences, publishing, food businesses and early-stage technology ventures. I have also worked within different organisational structures, including matrix organisations, hierarchical institutions, flat teams, family businesses and early-stage startups. Working across these environments has shaped a flexible approach to marketing and design, understanding both complex institutional organisations and fast-moving small businesses.
2. What kind of projects have you worked on? Projects have ranged from brand strategy and marketing communication to business development, product launches, campaigns, events, customer experience design and project management. Some projects involved large organisations and multi-stakeholder environments, while others focused on helping smaller businesses clarify positioning, improve communication and build stronger foundations for growth.
3. How does your cross-industry experience help clients? Working across industries helps identify patterns that are often invisible within a single sector. Marketing and business development challenges such as positioning, differentiation, customer understanding, segmentation and OKRs (objectives and key results) appear in many different forms across industries. Experience in multiple sectors allows solutions to be adapted rather than copied.
4. What do you enjoy most about working with businesses? Working with small and growing businesses is especially rewarding because the impact of thoughtful decisions becomes visible very quickly. During growth phases, improvements in positioning, product or service development, marketing and communication can unlock significant momentum. Being part of that journey, helping a business shape its offer, clarify its direction and express its value more clearly is one of the most fulfilling parts of the work. In many ways, it feels like witnessing something grow and come into its own.
